If I'm looking at the right entry, Mary is 4 on the 1841 census, so that would mean she was born 1836 - 1837, before civil registration started.

In 1841, Mary is with her mother Jane, and sister Ann, and Jane's sister Eliza Worner (Warner) in Martock (I think its East St). No sign of father James.

On the Martock website, Duncan has transcribed all the surnames, but no Christian names for the Rodfords in 1830-1840s - two baptisms in 1836, two in 1837, two in 1838. As James and his brothers George and Thomas, as well as their cousins John and James all married in the 1830s, I think I will definitely have to get the film from the LDS and go through it myself.
