Default Ancestry question.

I have an Ancestry sub with my DNA and tree.

My husband just did his DNA and I did free Ancestry in his name for his DNA.

I don’t really want to pay for two subs in the same house, so can I somehow let me look at his info and message people from my sub? I know my cousin has let me do that and vice versa, but we both have paid subs.

If I try to message from hubby’s Ancestry, it tells me I have to subscribe.

You should make yourself the manager of his DNA test.

This is what you should do (log into his account to do it):

Thank you. That worked. I have now invited myself and accepted……..lol And sent a message to a random person we have never heard of who shares 485cM over 26 segments. I haven’t got any matches for me with that much connection……lol

Libby, that's 6 cM and 8 segments more than my first cousin once removed.
