I found Sarah's name from the baptism of her eldest son William at Weeley Essex 1811

It may not be any relation your Purdys but there's someone on Rootschat with query about a Joseph Jeffery who married a Martha Purdy in the Clacton area. It's a bit later than your Sarah tho'.
