DNA query

Following on from OC's DNA puzzle can I now please ask a couple of questions as I am extremely sceptical of it all.

OH's half sister in the UK has just asked if he would have a DNA test, as she has sent off her DNA sample. So before he makes a decision;

For any who have received theirs - can you reveal whether it was of any benefit to your family history research?

Do you consider it was worth the money?

Knowing what you found out from the test would you think twice about prompting others to take it?
