Default Not sure about this one?

I came across this old photo of my grandfather. It is very cracked with bits missing.

I scanned it at 600 but it scanned as a PDF. I changed it to a JPEG file but not sure if it lost size.

If it is wrong, I'll ask OH to rescan it tonight. This scanner is his baby and I can't work out how to scan in anything but PDF...

Thanks.

Hi Libby
Only just see this (not been restoring for quite a while).
Will have a proper look at it over the weekend but if in the meantime you can rescan at 300-600 that would be better.
Computer says it's only scanned at 120 ....
If using Photobucket please make sure the file size option is set at 1mb (that's the maximum for the free accounts).

Anyone else happy to restore it ? A bit of a challenge

I just looked in my Recycle Bin but it's not there, but I've just realised it's probably in the RB on my laptop, so I'll have a look later, coz I'm too lazy to go and get it now! I know messed up the background as well as also getting the Hitler effect!

I should have started again, but as I said, this went in the bin because I couldn't face having another go when it was never going to be very good!
