Default Comparison of photos to aid identification please

I've been to see my great aunt this afternoon and whilst I was there asked her about who someone was on an old family photo.

She wasn't sure.

I do have pics of all of them as children so need help deciding who it is in the adult version.

This is the pic that is the problem:

My grandmother is in the middle (b 1897) and possibly one of the others was her sister Catherine who was a year younger (b 1898)

I think Catherine is probably the one on the right but who is the one on the left?

Catherine's wedding pic in 1922

As children or young women the rest of grandmothers sisters taken in 1916:

Catherine b 1898

Ruth b 1900

Doris b 1901

Olive b 1910 ( I doubt it is her)

It definitely isn't Aunty Daisy as she wasn't born until 1915 and she knows it's not her.

I think that the lady on the left looks most like Ruth, but that her hair seems to be parted in the same way as Doris's

I would have guessed Catherine on left & Doris on right.

The girl on the right has much more hair than her sisters (and a full bust that I'm not sure the 1920s could disguise)

Also, doesn't the girl on the left display an engagement ring?

Not sure about photos, but (having only seen you via the Ladies Wot Lunch photos), don't you look like your grandmother?!

Just what I was going to say! You do favor your grandmother, Marg. Oops, going off topic. Well, I'll return to the topic at hand by pointing out that if someone were to show me a head shot of your grandmother and one of you, without any other surrounding clues as to epoch, I might very well swear we were looking at the same person. So just a cautionary note about drawing conclusions.
