Could someone please tidy this pic up incl. Frame -maybe make it a wee bit lighter so we can see the clothing?

Picture may be slightly crooked as well.

Hi there jood
This looks familiar ~ mainly because of the pattern on the woman's skirt but I've not been able to find it, so far, on my computer

It's not a good scan and the pixellation when enlarged is quite a problem

Here's my clean up

Sorry I asked you to do it twice Rachel. I am transferring things from one computer to another and hadn't caught up with the previous one you did. I;ll delete the original right away.

I'm just happy to have found it at last ~ I knew I'd seen that skirt before

Jood, if you can do a better scan (300 - 600 res), please repost it sometime.
You could always email it to me so you can bypass Photobucket.

The surface damage is evident but there should be some detail in there ~ clothes and features ~ but with this scan it's not possible to see it, nor the detail of the mount.

Oh darn
Isn't that always how it goes
Good to have it at any rate.

I have 3 photocopies of ancestors sent by a distant relative and can not find out who has the original photos.
It's so frustrating when you can't see the faces properly
