Occupation(s) - if any Innkeeper, shopkeeper and farmer. Ran The Holmbush inn at Faygate, which is still open. Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). 1841: Faygate, Sussex 1851: Holmbush Inn, Faygate 1861: Hombush Inn, Faygate, innkeeper & shopkeeper Date, place and cause of death 22 Feb 1863 Faygate Date and place of burial. Now I have found William at the Holmbush Inn in 1861 I see he has changed his mind about Abinger being his birthplace and has given Ockley instead.
Having lunch at William's inn today with William's 4x and 5x great grandsons |
