Default The Home adresses of Emily Hogg 1862/1947

hi everyone,hope everyone had a nice xmas? i need a little help with my research please ive beendoing the recesearch over at thelocal libarary reecenlty so nee to get help however as the libarry is shut today and tommorow i would like to find out emily hogg som informaition to sendto emilys famiy please eg adresses she may have lived in etc?, emily hogg was born 1862 in pannell in harrogate died 1947 bramley leeds her mother was elizabeth hogg 1841/1882. her adopted father was william haryes 1831/1890,emily married george brammer 1888,and lived in beeston in holbeck leeds with george and in pannel in 1871.and holbeck in 1881,any help would be gratefully reccieved, thanks Zoe

Have you searched the censuses, Zoe? That would be a starting point.

I think you have researched this before, Zoe. If you check your notes you might find you already have the information.

i dont have the adress in beeston that hannah lived with george but thanks ive just checked my notes and i have the cenus recodrs for 1871 1881 in my notes apoligies for this ive got so much research material i cant remmebr which ive done and not done sorry,can you please find me the adress in beeston that george and emily lived please, and i cant find in my notes emily hogg proof of traveling to boston,mastustious,please in july 1893 ive got the manifest with my family on but unfortunatley I cant find emilys manifest or proof she went to mass.with my familly an you pleasefind me the proof emily went there please? ,youve been a masive help in my research ,i cant thankyou enough,kind regards Zoe

This is the 1891 census at 2 Mill Fold, Beeston, Leeds:

In 1901 they were at 5 Mill Fold and in 1911 at 43 Town Street, Beeston, Leeds.

As Emily got married in 1888, her name in 1893 would be Emily Brammer. Findmypast doesn't show anybody called Brammer on the passenger lists for people leaving the UK in 1893. I can't see any record for your Brammer family returning to the UK between 1893 and 1901 either, so I don't think they travelled to Massachusetts in 1893 unless you have something to prove that they did?

As a side issue, don't I remember that Emily married someone called Brown before she married Mr Brammer? That's not mentioned in the opening post here.

Also, in 1901 their 8 year-old and 3 year-old children were both born in the UK. so, if they went to the US they would have to have come back by Q2 1897 when Hilda was registered for birth.
