Default Mary WOOD FMMMMM

I could really do with some help on this one. I've already been down one track which I no longer think is correct so fresh eyes would be useful.

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Mary WOOD

Date and place of birth
c. 1790 probably Hertfordshire

Names of parents
That's the problem

Date and place of baptism - if applicable
See above

Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
William HIDE 20/10/1810 Gt Wymondley Herts

Occupation(s) - if any
Probably straw plaiter if she had time.

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
1813 Dead St Hitchin Herts
1814 - 1816 Bridge St Hitchin Herts
1818 -1831 Hollow Lane Hitchin Herts

Date, place and cause of death
April 1831 probably Hollow Lane Hitchin Herts

Date and place of burial.
13/4/1831 Hitchin St Mary Herts

Details of will / administration of their estate - N/A

Memorial inscription - N/A

This is her daughter: http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/f...ead.php?t=8934

Do you have her parish and the witnesses' names from her marriage, Glen?

Hi Kate,

The marriage entry shows William is of Hitchin & Mary is otp. He makes his mark & she signs. The witnesses were William WRIGHT & Ann HIDE who appear to marry in Stanstead Abbotts the following year. Again he marks & she signs.

I cannot connect the 2 HIDEs although William does have a sister Nancy of whom I know nothing.

I won't say any thing else as I don't want to lead.

Nancy was a variation of the name Ann, so they could well be the same person.
