Hannah was 19 when she married in Mar 1871.
Elizabeth Ann who married George Hague in 1887 is also on that census aged 5 months.

Okay, so the Mary Elizabeth Barclay who is with the Hagues in 1881 is definitely the daughter of William Barclay / Barkley / Bartley and Hannah nee Coxhead, and she was born in 1874, which all fits with the Mary Elizabeth who married John Hartley.

You have William's birth registration in post #21 his reported birthplace in post #14 and his father's reported place of birth in post #12.

Also, James Bartley (ropemaker) married Mary Roberts (spinster) at St John's Liverpool 26 Oct 1834. Both made their mark. Witnesses Patrick McEnaly (signed) and Ann Young (mark).

There's also this baptism:

St Paul's Liverpool
Born 10 Aug 1808 James son of Edward Bartley of Queen St, boat builder, and Mary his wife. bap 17 Sep 1809.

and this burial:

Low Hill Cemetery, Liverpool
1 Dec 1853 James Barkley of Bolton St aged 45

BARKLEY, JAMES 45
GRO Reference: 1853 D Quarter in WEST DERBY Volume 08B Page 322
