Default Were my rellies having a larf?

Have a family on 1851 census (transcribed as) living
Mud Hall, Basing, Hampshire

Have Googled but come up with nothing. Wondered whether they told the census chap they lived in a "muddle" and got mistranscribed! I thought I inherited it from somewhere!

Could someone check the census for me?

Stephen GREGORY b. c1797 Head, W, Ellisfield, Hampshire Ag Lab
with sons John, James and dau Sarah.

Thanks.

If you look on the page before it looks like Mid Wall.

There's nothing useful in the ED description

Thanks for looking Wendy and Rachel. Not a clear page then obviously - still prefer Mud Hall! Will have a look out for a Mid or Mud Wall instead.

Thanks again.

Sorry for jumping on your thread Anna, but I agree with Rachel.....Ancestry is now dreadful and I find it to be a step or three backwards not forwards.

I hate it
