17 Jan 1787 mar Agnes Hele in Diptford, Devon.

1799 listed as a freeholder of Devon in Charleton

All children baptised Charleton

Bur 13 Aug 1817 Charleton

Will PCC John Helmer of Charleton, gentleman (!) proved 13 Feb 1818
The Estate Duty copy, held in Devon RO is dated 1817. Probate granted to Agnes Helmer.

I assume there is (or was!) an MI, but have never been so fortunate as to visit the village.
