Thumbs up West Yorkshire and Surrey Electoral Registers - ancestry

West Yorkshire Electoral Registers 1840-1962
Surrey Electoral Registers 1914-1945

The Surrey database is just the part of Surrey that is not included in Greater London as ancestry already has London electoral registers online.

I have to tell you that the Surrey electoral registers are full of mistakes. My grandfather's third name of Jeffcoat is mistranscribed several times as as Teggcoat and his house as Lynchmore or worse instead of Lynchmere.

The information about the Surrey electoral registers says that "Note: This index was created using text recognition software. Records were not transcribed."

Can anyone find Croydon?

I only moved here in 1970, after all the boundary changes.

Croydon was a borough from the late 1800s and I can't see the people I expected to find.
