Cannot find anything for Great grandad
Hi,
I am searching Birth and marriage records for George J Staines married to Betsy Fisher and Daughter Dorothy Hannah Staines. Anyone find anything ??

Once we know that Betsy's father was definitely William James Fisher and also the name and occupation of George's father, we should be able to help you some more.
This is the most likely candidate for George, but I would hate to tell you something that is wrong (and waste time doing lookups on the wrong individuals!) so we need that cert! Births Jun 1906 Staines George John Romford 4a 608

i Couldnt find the wedding date nor anything on ancestry I managednto complete my whole mothers side. So couldn,t order the cert without a date.

You don't need the marriage date to order the cert, just the GRO details (year, quarter, volume and page number, district and the names of the marriage parties). Don't pay more than £9.25 for a certificate.
