The marriage is on FreeREG, William Barnard, bachelor, of the parish of Hainford, Elizabeth Slater, spinster, of the parish of Stratton Strawless, witnesses Samuel Pye and Robert Spark.

Thanks KR, have got a copy of the marriage entry.

Just found a possible baptism of Elisabeth Slater, 1757 at Hainford, parents Francis and Phebe.

Possible burial also on FreeREG - Elizabeth Barnard buried at Hainford All Saints, 18 Jan 1838, age 82, abode Hainford. If that's her she would be born about 1755.
Edit - that baptism certainly looks possible; ages at death often weren't very accurate.

William Barnard was buried 1841 in same parish, aged 84, so that would fit nicely. Just wish I could convinced myself that there is no Lucy in the frame!

There is also a possible baptism at Stratton Strawless (again from FreeREG) - Elizth Slatter baptised 24 Dec 1756, parents John and Usley (presumably a variant of Ursula).

Thanks KR! None of the parents names seem to have been used on any of her children, so that doesn't help. I shall have to see if I can see if either died young.
