Arthur Hele was baptised 30 March 1693 in Diptford, son of Solomon Hele and Margaret nee Prowse
1 October 1715 he married Elizabeth Fowell at Buckfastleigh, Devon He appears on the Devon and Exeter Oath Rolls of 1723 as of Diptford, where he signed his name.
