The Southwell burial is likely for this Francis who is at Church Gate, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, on the 1841 census, but I don't know whether it is your Francis or not, Babs:

Francis Revill 73 Ind Y

He is with a family transcribed as Hulley on ancestry but I'm not sure whether that's right or not, also whether he is related to them.

Okay, the marriage for that couple is on FamilySearch and it looks likely that Francis is Ann's father:
Henry Heetley married Ann Revill 12 Feb 1822 Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Surname on daughter Emma's baptism is Kentley, also on William's, Keatley on Joseph's, Keetley on Henry jr's and John's, according to FamilySearch.

So on 1851 the couple are Henry and Ann Keetley and Ann is age 58, born Notts Southwell. I don't think your Francis had children born in Southwell, did he? So this could be a different Francis from yours.

FamilySearch has a burial for a Francis Revell 25 Jun 1794 at Scarcliff, Derbyshire, but it doesn't give his age.

This sound more right
That's on the NBI, it's Southwell not South Well

What makes you think that's him. Do you have him in that area? Kate has doubts too #13

Do you have him on any census?

No real proof that it's yours. It's all a bit vague.

Babs, didn't you say that your Samuel was born in Ilkeston? That is nowhere near Southwell.

(and nowhere near Scarcliffe either)
