oooo - I've just found some more children!

Someone on Ancestry has:
Sarah b1805
Thomas b & d 1808
Elizabeth b1817<<<<<<<I've only checked her so far and have claimed her
as well as Mary Ann, my ancestor.

I've also found a Martha Balls christening in Patrington, Yorkshire (place of birth of Edmund's wife) to Edmund & Rebecca in November 1802.

It would seem likely then, that they married in Yorkshire - I've never had to search anywhere else in the UK apart from East Anglia & Devon - Are Yorkshire PRs on line anywhere?

Piddle!! The batch number given on FamilySearch isn't on the IGI site.
C007853 - Patrington on the IGI site starts in 1813 with batch C007852

I tried the batch number I wanted but with an M to get marriages

Guess what???

Edward Balls married Rebecca Atkinson in Patrington on 30th January 1801

The names are very close and the date fits - Is there anywhere I could see the image to see if there are any other pointers that this is my couple?? (occupation connected to bread & flour)

Rebecca Atkinson was christened in Patrington on 13th January 1782, daughter of Thomas Atkinson (no mother's name given)

Not only does Edward look very like Edmund but I reckon that they were probably known as Ned (or Ted, or Ed etc etc). I have heaps of Edmunds as ancestors (a good local saint in East Anglia) but many of them marry or die as Edward
