Yes, I found one from 1866. I'm not sure where they come from.

I emailed them about my missing image. I'll let you know what the result is.

So anyone using FMP credits would be well advised to look any of those transcription-only records up on the FIBIS site instead of paying to view on FMP, as it is free on FIBIS. Also on FIBIS it will give you the LDS film reference, or at least it does on the one I have just looked at.

Do they charge you to view records that are free elsewhere?
In my case it is a FIBIS transcription of IORs. Does that mean that there are more records to come, or something has been misplaced, mistranscribed or simpled skipped when FMP filmed the registers?

That in itself is nothing new; for instance, you have to pay to view the BMD indexes, which are available free on FreeBMD, but this situation is different if they are charging to view FIBIS's actual transcriptions, i.e. the very same transcriptions that are free on the FIBIS site. Of course I don't know if that's what they mean, or if they are saying that FIBIS gave them the documents and they then did their own transcriptions. The ones I have compared with FIBIS seem to be identical but if they are transcribed from typed / printed sources that wouldn't be surprising.

India Office Records, what FMP just released.

The ones I was looking at earlier were from marriage indexes and I guess FMP are unlikely to put images of those online. If you look on FIBIS, their database is taken from lots of sources, not just the same collections that FMP has digitised images of. If you post up the details of the record you are after, I could see if I can figure out where FIBIS got it from?

I'll find the link. It was a woman's private transcriptions but there is a note on her web page saying she no longer had time as she was webmaster at FIBIS. I would have found her page through FIBIS initially but can't work out how I did it now.
Mine wasn't an index though as it listed his occupation and regiment. I would not have known he was mine if it didn't have that. The link should open a document, search for Johnstone. He is the only one. Burials
