FMP - how do you report a problem with an image?
I can't see a "report image problem" button on the British India Office images; is there any way I can do it, anyone know?

Can't see anything, no - might be worth reporting to them through the feedback page.

It's normally easy when you view the image. There is no facility with the India Office Records.

I sent them an email and got a reply from them saying they got the same problem with the image and they would look into it.

my problems have been transcription errors. Anyone else who wants the images will have to search just like I did.

My problem was that the image wouldn't load, not that there is a transcription error.

I've had a couple that wouldn't load. I refreshed the page, or selected another record and went back to the original and it worked, luckily.
Check any images you download too, as I found a few where only half the page downloaded. It gets a lot slower when there are more online.

Yes, I tried downloading the problem image too and got an error message.

Have you come across any records where there is only a transcription? I don't mean the recent records where not all the information is released, the one I am talking about is in 1878.
I'm a bit confused as I had thought he had probably died in the Mutiny as his regiment was involved and his wife's death in 1875 refers to him as the late James but I can't see the image to confirm the dates.
