Another Whittaker problem, 1891 census help please
William Whittaker b 1848 Aston/Birmingham
He's married to Fanny. William dies in 1898 and I have found Fanny in 1901 and 1911. Here they are in 1881 - spelt Whitacre https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...=successSource Can anyone find them in 1891? I've tried Ancestry and Find my Past

I can't find them in 1891. I haven't tried looking for the 1881 address or the 1901 address to see who was living at those places in 1891.

Fanny jr gets married in 1896 and gives her address as Bracebridge Street, Aston Brook.
Edit - I see they are at Bracebridge Street on the 1901 census so I suppose you have already checked that address in 1891. Back to the drawing board... |

Yes, they are there in 1901 but not in 1891

I can't see them in Chester Street in 1891 but one house is empty (number 14).

It looks as if the area is full of courts and back streets. Perhaps they just got missed?
