Baptised 20th April 1726 in Charleton, Devon, the afterthought child of John Helmer and Dorothea nee Edwards, who had married in 1705.
Married Elizabeth Furneaux 29 January 1754, Dartmouth Buried 12 September 1811 Charleton Will described him as Gentleman of Charleton.
