Default Bride's name?

From FindMyPast - can anyone read who Nicholas Bowden married at Woodland, Devon in 1668? (towards the bottom of the page, immediately after the hole)

http://search.findmypast.co.uk/recor...r%2f225205%2f1

Thanks

Pente Codner?

Codner seems to have been a fairly common surname in Devon at that time, looking at FamilySearch. And there are some matches that come up for the first name Pente or Penty, so Pente Codner looks o.k. to me.

Neither could I, Nell!

No matter how long I looked at it I would never have seen Pente Codner - so thanks for that, Kite. Not a name I've come across before!
