I suppose you have seen this website?

It quotes the obituary that Kiterunner found. Also a photo of JOhn (Jack) and Olga.

*sobs* my head is exploding!

We have your grandmother, Beatrice Winifred Rathbone, on another Take One Grandparent thread (I realise that as she only 'may' be the mother of your father, that means she may or may not be your biological grandmother). Now we have her brother as your grandfather???? I am confused!!

Emma Rathbone travelling from Southampton to Mombasa on the Wangoni departure 15th Oct 1925, aged 44. UK address, 30 Adelaide Road, Chalk Farm NW. Travelling 3rd class.

Mrs E L Rathbone travelling from London to Mombasa on the Garth Castle departure 7th May 1921 aged 39. UK address 12 something Park, Finchley, N12. Travelling 2nd class.
