Nancy and Ann(e)
How likely is it that a girl baptised as Nancy would be called Ann later?
I have a complicated scenario to unravel regarding OH's ancestor Ann(e) Thompson. There is a baptism for a Nancy Thompson in 1795 at All Saints, Wakefield, and I am wondering if it is her. http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/f...light=Thompson It's all connected with Thrulines and DNA matches, but it isn't very straightforward!
