So you have all this information, but haven't posted up any clear data such as the 1881 census details or any GRO index information (all freely available)

The first hitch is that you say Harlington in Bedfordshire for William James Fisher's place of birth and the 1911 census (first one I looked at) says Harlington Middlesex, about 35 miles away!

Looking at the birth registrations there isn't one in his full name at the right time in Woburn District (for Harlington, Beds) but there is one in Staines District (for Harlington Middlesex). He might have been registered without two forenames, so this one, below may not be him:

FISHER, WILLIAM JAMES REYNOLDS
GRO Reference: 1866 D Quarter in STAINES Volume 03A Page 13

His marriage to Sarah Rebecca Jeeves in 1869 in Barking Essex gives his father as Henry (as you said), but as it's a transcription on Ancestry, no further info.

Back in a bit...

The marriage is 22 Sep 1889, St Margaret, Barking.

I think this is the Fisher family in 1871:
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...=successSource

Heston is very close to Harlington.

The youngest child on that census is Harriet age 2 months, and there is a Harriett Fisher birth registered Jan-Mar 1871 Brentford, MMN Reynolds, which fits with the birth you found for William James, Merry. I have to go out now but will look some more later.

I think the Middlesex connection is probably correct as in 1871 there is William James Fisher, aged 4, born in Heston which is a contiguous parish to Harlington Middlesex. His parents are Henry aged 34 (so b about 1837) an born in Heston and Betsy aged 32, born Dreyton, Middlesex.

Henry Fisher married Betsey Reynolds (mmn from WJF's birth reg) 28 Nov 1858 at West Drayton. At the marriage Henry says his father is also Henry Fisher, both labourers.

Hopefully the two Henry's may be together in 1851.

There is a family in Heston in 1851 who could be the right people, though the name Fisher is pretty common so you might want to investigate further to be sure (buy the relevent certs etc)

Henry Fisher head m 44 brick field labourer b Berks Wantage
Sarah Fisher wife m 43 b Middlesex Westminster
James Fisher son unm 21 labourer b Heston
John Fisher son unm 19 labourer b Southall
Henry Fisher son unm 17 labourer b Southall
Lideah Fisher dau 9 b Southall
Sarah Fisher dau 6 b Southall
James Bignold lodger unm 23 Brisk field labourer b Bucks Missenden

Have you found a similar family in the other Harlington?

IF that 1851 family is the right people, the last two daughters were registered with mmn Mills.

There's a couple names Henry Fisher and Sarah Mills marrying 19/05/1828 at St John the Baptist, Hillingdon, Middlesex.

Ah, in 1861 Henry and Sarah (Mills) Fisher are living nextdoor but one to Henry and Betsy (Reynolds) Fisher, so that's promising.

Looking at Sarah Rebecca Jeeves, there are birth reg and baptism for a Sarah Rebecca Geves, birth reg Apr - Jun 1865 West Ham district and baptism 28 May 1865 St Mary Magdalene, East Ham, parents Jesse and Elizabeth Ann. On the GRO birth index MMN is Lake.

This is that Sarah's family in 1881:
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...=successSource

Green Lane, Barking, Essex
Jesse Geeves Head Mar 48 Farm Labourer Bedfordshire Gurford(?)
Elizabeth Do Wife Do 37 Essex East Ham
William Do Son Unm 19 Farm Labourer Do Do
Sarah Do Daur Do 16 Do Do
Rebecca Geeves Daur 10 Essex Barking
James Do Son 10 Do Do
Henry Do Do 4 Do Do
Emma Do Daur 7 Do Do
Alfred Do Son 8 mo Do Do

The witnesses at William and Sarah's wedding in 1889 were James Jeeves and Emma Jeeves, so I think this will be the right family.
So there is a Bedfordshire connection after all! Not sure what that "Gurford" is though.

Edit - see post #13 below; it's Girtford.

And on the 1871 census Jesse's birthplace is just Bedfordshire:
