Can you find May?
May has been known as unknown Hewitt on my tree since the 1911 census came out. She was recorded as one of 2 deceased children to Saint John and Kate Hewitt.
With the release of more London birth/baptism records one of the unknowns went from Unknown to May Saint John Hewitt born 6/5/1893. I know May has died by 1911 but I can't find a death for her anywhere, nor on the 1901 census. Can anyone have a go and find her?

Where are the parents in 1901 and 1911 Kit?
Should the death be in the London area?

I can't see her death on FreeBMD or find her in 1901.
I wonder if they returned to India at any time and she died out there?

Sorry Marg been watching the tennis.
Possible they went back. Will go and see what records I can find for India.

No nothing in India. Doesn't mean you aren't right, just it hasn't been transcribed.

India records are held at the British library and I don't think anything is online.

Thanks Kate. I did know of that link, sorry my post above wasn't clear.
There is also a website called FIBIS which have some transcribed records, more for anyone reading, than I want anyone to search for me. May will just have to sit on the back burner for a while. Sometimes things just appear when you have a look later.
