Samuel Price Denison 1775-1825 London xFMMFF
Samuel Price Denison
born 26 Feb 1775, parents Joseph Denison & Elizabeth Butler baptised 24 March 1775 at St. John Zachary, London [the actual church had burned down, but service was held at St. Anne & St. Agnes, a church almost next door in Gresham Street, City of London] I don't know where Price comes into it as it wasn't Samuel's mother's maiden name, but Samuel's sister Mary Juliana had a son named Thomas Price Swan. Occupation: Samuel was clerk to an attorney [his uncle, Samuel Denison] and lived at Staples Inn 1st marriage to Anna Maria ??? not found Children of Samuel Price Denison & Anna Maria baptised at St. Mary at Lambeth: Samuel Denison bpt 20 Aug 1797 mother Maria Henry George Hannibal Denison bpt 23 Dec 1798, St Mary at Lambeth, mother Anna Maria 2nd marriage: 06 Nov 1802, St. Andrew Holborn To Margaret Davis Samuel was described as of St Clement Danes bachelor although he was a widower children of Margaret Davis & Samuel Price Denison Joseph James Denison 1804 bpt St Andrew Holborn Charles Timothy Denison 1808 bpt St James Clerkenwell Jane Denison 1811 bpt St James Clerkenwell Alfred Denison 1815 born Grays Inn Lane, bpt St Andrew Holborn Eliza Dension 1816 [not proved, Eliza is buried in non-conformist ground 1817 in Clerkenwell] William Denison 1820? [no baptism found, but mentioned in Lydia Denison's Will as one of the four younger children of her late nephew Samuel Price Denison.] 1796 Samuel Denison of Bedford Row left in his will to his nephew Samuel Price Denison "£400 in money and all my law books and papers in my chambers,...my shirt sleeve buttons...and linen and wearing apparel as my wife should think appropriate". There was a dispute about this Will, which had a codicil involving SPD and went to the Court of Chancery. Very complicated, have not yet got my head around it but: 07 Jul 1801 listed SPD as a debtor at the Kings Bench prison. Death 1825 at King Street, aged 50 Burial 25 Dec 1825, St. Luke's, Old Street, London Link to 3 x ggf: http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/f...+price+denison

Henry George Hannibal Dennison
You'd think he'd be easy to trace, but like his mother he seems to have vanished into thin air.
His brother Samuel was easy to trace up to his death.
