Help pretty help! 1841
Humphrey Pridden again. Odd rot him. I thought I'd found him and a brother as apprentices or servants, or dealing in skins in 1841. Very dark image and I can't locate it! Nor can I find the original. I think they were calling themself John & Joseph. I think it was St Marylebone.
Can anybody find them???? |

Of course, it would be helpful if I told you he was born in 1814

I'm a bit confused! Humphrey is aliasing as Joseph or as John? And which of them was b 1816?
In 1841 there's a "Humphry Prider" aged 20 and John Prider aged 14 in St Marylebone, but they are both Journeyman Bakers, so I guess that isn't them (and the image is a lovely one, though the surname does look more like Prides to me!!)

That must be what I found!
Merry, would you quote the ref to me, then I can check it later. The quality of the image I saw was so poor, and it did not copy at all well. As my man used the alias Timothy Cannon c 1831, and John Briddon in 1851 and had deserted his wife in 1841, I am prepeared to believe anything of him! |

He's transcribed as Bedes on FMP but it's a terrible image. PM me your email address and I'll send you the one from Ancestry
