Default ?Andrew Litster & Elizabeth Halkestone?

Andrew was born 6th Aug 1721 and baptised 7th Aug 1721 in Markinch, Fife, son of James Litster and Janet Taylor.

He married Elizabeth Halkestone 5th Dec 1746 at Kettle, Fife and I have the baptisms of two children at Kettle - Janet in 1748 and Thomas in 1756.

Andrew was buried 25th Jan 1780 at Kettle aged "about 59" and was of Orkie Miln, Kettle. I haven't found a burial for Elizabeth.

I was convinced this couple were the parents of Janet Litster who married John Kellock at Kettle in 1780, despite Janet being a little older than I might have expected - the naming of their children and the parish make it seem so likely. However, Freereg has a burial for a Jane Litster of Orkie Mill 26th Jan 1748 Kettle (a child) which looks very likely to be the child I was thinking I was descended from. There's a Janet Litster buried in Kettle in 1822 aged 72 and I'm wondering if there was a namesake sibling

I wonder if the Elizabeth Haxton, buried at Rameldry Miln in 1786 aged about 70 could be your Elizabeth. It v close to Orkie Mill.

Just had a look at the Farm Horse Tax rolls, 1797-1798, for Kettle parish:

John Halkerston, Parkwell
James Litster, Orkymill
