Finding a couple of baptisms and making THE connection

I have the Will of my 3 x Great Grandfather Nathaniel Woodgate 1787-1863 Suffolk. In it he says he may be due property in the Will of the late Robert Chaplin of Marks Tey, Essex.

Nathaniel's mother I believe was Rachel Chaplin.

I have found this Robert Chaplin in 1841 HO107; Piece 335; Folio: 12; Page: 18
and 1851 HO107; Piece: 1782; Folio: 491; Page: 15

I have found his and two other siblings baptisms on Family Search Record Search (one is with him in 1841 William Green Chaplyn) in Monks Eleigh, Suffolk

Parents Robert Chaplin and Elizabeth (marriage 29/09/1772 in Lindsey, Suffolk)

There are burials on the NBI for Robert and Elizabeth that would fit at Monks Eleigh 1824 age 76 for Robert and 1825 age 70 for Elizabeth (which fits a marriage record on Ancestry in the Suffolk parish registers that gives her age as 18 and her fathers name as William - presumably as she is under 21)

There is also a burial for a Rachel Woodgate in Monks Eleigh 1828 aged 79.

That would give her year of birth as c 1749 and Robert Chaplin senior as c 1748.

I would like to prove they were brother and sister but cannot find any baptisms for them.

There is a baptism on the IGI for Robert Chaplin 23 Feb 1747 Monks Eleigh, Suffolk parents Nathaniel and Hannah

The name Nathaniel looks good as that's the same name as 3 x great grandfather but still can't find anything for Rachel.

Marg search that batch with only the father's name as Nathaniel, no surname!!

Oh brilliant Jay, she's listed as Caplin. That's the connection.

I've gone back 2 generations getting that Will. Thank you soooooooo much.
