Default Unsure which death to search

Hi Folks,

I have Arthur Herbert Chenery who was my Grandfather's nephew, born 1898 in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He is on the 1911, living with his grandparents. I have a scanned newspaper article of his grandparents 50th wedding anniversary which mentions most of their relatives, including a Bertie Chenery (grandson) who was killed in the war at only 17 years. This, I am assuming, is Arthur Herbert. I have found no record of his death in the UK, so am guessing that commemoration on the CWGC of an A. Chenery, a rifleman, killed in 1915 at Ypres (Menin Gate) is the correct chap. There are no records on the Military section on Ancestry - service record, pension, medal card etc.

Would there perhaps have been a mention in one of the local Bury St Edmunds papers announcing his death during WW1?

Anybody help please?

Chris
