This is a passenger list for Walter's arrival in London 26 Jul 1908 giving his wife's name as Mrs Ida M Allport:

Here is another family tree on Ancestry which also gives his date of death as 6 Apr 1930 and which says he was buried at the Gout Cemetery in Dominica. It shows him having quite a few partners but most of their names are hidden so I don't know whether Marthe / Marta is included:

A couple of Ancestry trees also have have this partner (as well as Ida Davis):

Angelina Coipel
1891–1973
Birth 19 JUL 1891 • Roseau, Dominica, West Indies
Death 06 DEC 1973 • Roseau, Dominica, West Indies

no marriage details for the above, but three children:

Robert Alexander Allport
1913–1982
Birth 01 DEC 1913 • Roseau, Dominica, West Indies
Death 09 DEC 1982 • Dominica, West Indies

Elfa Marie Lou Allport
1915–1985
Birth MAR 1915 • Roseau, Dominica, West Indies
Death 1985 • Queens, New York

Agatha Seigfried Allport
1917–2007
Birth 22 AUG 1917 • Roseau, Dominica, West Indies
Death 07 MAY 2007 • Tulsa, Oklahoma

and a fourth child who is private.

There's also a third partner with no name known and one child from that relationship but as they don't have any indication of a dob for that child I'm not adding their name here.

I have no idea if any of this information is correct at the moment.

Here's an obit for Walter's father that mentions his son's death (though it says May rather than April):

06 February 1931 - Bedfordshire Times and Independent

Thank you so much! Very interesting! Any chance you could find where and when Ida Maud died?

No, I've not found that. The only information I've found about her is from her marriage entry:

Walter Adolph Dennison Allport to Ida Maud Davis at Saint Andrew, Jamaica, 22 Jul 1896

Groom: bachelor, engineer, 24, address: Windward Rd, Kingston, father Walter Harrison Allport (there isn't a box for father's occupation)

Bride: Spinster, 19, address: Gordon Town, St Andrew, father Edward George Davis dec'd.

Both signed. Witnesses M E Dewal and M G Plant (??) both signed.

You may need to go and look at the Dominica records at a FamilySearch Centre to find that out.
