There seems to be plenty of information on the ones I've looked at, though I've not found any of my rellies yet. |

Wow!
Kite, I don't have Ancestry at present, but I put in "Quintrell" and it came up with "Frederick Quintrell". Could you please tell me which year and location it was? |

How odd, KiteRunner!
This is my poor Fred Wood Quintrell. The Australian authorities wrongly referred to him as Frederick. When we were in Australia in 2006 we got his death certificate and investigated his death. However, we were told that the inquest report would not have survived! He shot himself with his revolver, and died in hospital. We saw the house in Sydney where he was living and tried to kill himself. He is buried in Rookwood Cemetery. I have a picture of his grave which was sent home to his family. Fred was my great-grandmother's brother. KiteRunner, would you mind sending me the report? It would make his story complete. |

Don't think I could do it very easily at the moment, Elizabeth, because I'm on the laptop so I can't get at my emails.

If anyone is able to get the inquest report to me, I would be extremely grateful.

OK, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll do it. Don't expect a lot of detail, though - there's generally only a line or two.
