Default Frederick (Fred) Hogg 1854-1897

1891 census: I have Frederick Hogg (a Tanners Labourer) aged 37 living in Warrington, Cheshire with his wife Lucy aged 38. Both born in Derby, Derbyshire.
With them are children Charles aged 11 born Chesterfield, Harry aged 3 born Derby and Eliza aged 1 born Latchford, Warrington.

I cannot find a marriage for Frederick and Lucy nor can I find a birth for Frederick. Obviously I can't look for Lucy's birth as I don't know her maiden name.

I've searched Births, Marriages (both GRO and Parish), Baptisms, Census returns but am up against a brick wall.

I know that Frederick died in Warrington and was buried there on 6 Sep 1897.

Note: All my searches are on FMP.

There is this birth for an Eliza Hogg, suggesting a mother's maiden name of Parker:

HOGG, ELIZA PARKER
GRO Reference: 1890 M Quarter in WARRINGTON Volume 08C Page 255

There's a very confused public tree on Ancestry saying a Lucy Madeley was married to Frederick Hogg but also with a Parker surname.

I need to look at it carefully as it's rather muddled!

According to the tree, there was another son, Frederick, born in 1894.

Here is the GRO entry:

HOGG, FRED MADELY
GRO Reference: 1895 M Quarter in WARRINGTON Volume 08C Page 285

This time with the Madely surname.

1901 Census

Lucy is still in Warrington with Charles P Hogg 21, Henry 13, Eliza 11, Fred 6, and a lodger just given as "Andrew".

1901 and Lucy is a widow wit her son Charles P Hogg and other children.

It looks as if Charles was the son of Edward Parker and Lucy nee Madeley.
