Default Ancestry Traits

Anybody else had the Ancestry Traits email?

I suspect it's a load of rubbish

Well, if it's anything like the ethnicity, it'll take a bit of refining.

Forewarned is forearmed. Thanks, Mary.

On my computer there is a 'Delete' button for that.

I am far more interested in the subtle traits which I call genetic memory for want of a better phrase!

Why was I buying rubbishy brooches from Woolworths, aged 6, when normal 6 year olds were buying sweets and why have I a life long obsession with jewellery? Answer - because I come from a long line of jewellers.

Why am I, a townie, drawn irresistibly to the sea? Answer - I come from a long line of sailors and fishermen. Same with the seasons, I want to plant and hoe- and that is because my ancestors were farmers.

I doubt Ancestry can show that in the genes though.

OC

I can't see the point of it.

Yes OC I always wondered why I was drawn to the sea living as far as possible away from it. I joined the Navy and married a sailor lol. Then found my bf came from a small island off west of ireland.
