Default York Peculiars Wills and Probate Documents - British Origins

On their "National Wills Index":
http://www.origins.net/nwiwelcome.aspx

They say "Over 25,000 wills proved in the 54 peculiar courts of the Province of York from 1383 to 1883. Originals are held at the Borthwick Institute for Archives.
Original documents images available to purchase and view online.
Original documents which are not yet available for purchase can be ordered online and a digital copy emailed. "

You can search for free, and it will tell you how many search results there are, but to view those search results you need a sub. The cheapest one is £7 for 72 hours, which doesn't renew automatically (the other subs do). And if I understand correctly, you can then pay to view the actual will, or, if it is not yet online, order a copy.

Direct link to search the York Peculiars Probate Collection 1383-1857:

I don't know why they say it goes up to 1883 in one place and 1857 in another; I think it only goes up to 1858.
