Default I am amazed

At how much new material has been added on line in the past couple of years.
As a number of you know, I am involved in a project researching colonial C of E clergy who served in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Every two years we go through and update the information, and at the moment we are working through the New Zealand cohort. Although I am only looking at the men where we have obvious gaps in the information, in almost every single one that I have looked at there has been something new to add. The really great thing is the number of copies of the parish registers for baptisms and marriages where I can confirm the fathers name, and occasionally find that this is a second marriage for one of the couple. Probate has also been useful to confirm deaths.

When I get a minute I will have to have another look at my own family!
