Thanks, Merry. It does say Danser on the image but I still think it is the right family.

Thanks. It sounds as though we are looking at the same family, then. These are the baptisms from Lancs OPC, though there seem to be a couple missing:
13 Oct 1793 Peggy - first daur (born 21 Sep) 9 Nov 1794 Betty - second daur (born 20 Oct) 1 May 1796 Thomas - first son (Ranson on Lancs OPC) (born 19 Apr) 30 Jan 1799 William - second son (born 27 Dec) 6 Aug 1801 Matthew - third son (born 7 Jul) 3 Apr 1803 William - fifth son (born 21 Mar) 5 May 1805 Nelly - third daur (Dunson on Lancs OPC) (born 16 Apr) 29 Mar 1807 Sally - fourth daur (born 17 Mar) 2 Oct 1808 Mary - fifth daur (born 26 Sep) 12 Apr 1812 Ann - seventh daur (born 2 Apr) There is also a burial for William 1 Feb 1798 age 2 weeks, and Mary 14 Aug 1809 age 10 months. So it looks as though the number is wrong for second and third son in the baptisms - they should have been third and fourth. Maybe they didn't have time to get the first William baptised before he died. Matthew's occupation changes from weaver to dyer in 1809. |

If you mean post #4 giving the reference for the death certificate, it is this site to order the cert:
https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ You can also search on FreeBMD but you can't order from there: https://www.freebmd.org.uk/ We found the baptisms etc on Lancashire OPC: http://lan-opc.org.uk/ |
