Default If anyone is bored....

I'm looking at the image of baptisms of George and Anthony TURNER.

They are both baptised 30th December 1813 Corsham, Wilts.
I'm wondering if they are twins. Their older sisters were baptised in 1807 and 1809 and their mother was the widow of the Rev Richard Weaver (died 1804).

There is something written beside one of the boys names in the register. Can anyone read what it says please.

It's "Publickly received". So he might have been baptised earlier as a private baptism.

Thank you. Maybe just normal siblings then and one was a sickly child.

Thanks Merry. This is a whole new bit of the Weavers I didn't know about. Lawrie's gg grandmother was Emily Weaver, married to missing Myles Ariel. Her father was one of the half siblings of the above Turner children.

Trove says George was aged 59 when he died in Jan 1869.

Ancestry's Oxford University Alumni says George Edward Turner of Corsham Wilts matriculated in Dec 1830 aged 20.

Thanks. I know nothing about the Turners. I was trying to find a death for Sarah Weaver (née Gibbs) and found the marriage to George Turner so persued that.
