His death was registered by Charlotte Whalley (no relationship given on the certificate.
Now, John's daughter, Elizabeth married William George Whalley in 1854 but I have never been able to find out any more about them.

There is a non-conformist burial on FamilySearch and BMD Registers of a John Conolly 11 Nov 1855 at Hackney, but it looks as though you would need to buy credits on BMD Registers site to see the full entry and find out whether it could be your John or not.

There don't seem to be any other death registrations in the area in Q4 1855 for any variations of the surname, so that burial probably is him.

If you click on the National Archives Reference ("recordset") RG8 0043 on the BMD Registers site, it says it is "Register of Burials at Victoria Park Cemetery, Hackney, Middlesex from 1855 to 1856".
