Default Scotland: Find the Father

I have been looking at my Scottish ancestors and specifically my illegitimate great-grandmother. I came across a very useful website which also will search for fathers of illegitimate children for you.

They also have a list of the fathers found for illegitimate children:

https://www.oldscottish.com/fathers-found.html

I have sent them a request to see if they can help me identify my great-great-grandfather.

oooh thanks Elizabeth.

I think in general the Scots were fairly good at tracking down fathers. I have traced a few through the Kirk Sessions.
