Default A Cooper Riddell

Edward Boutle marries Ann Cooper spinster in 1812: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...=successSource

Edward Cooper Boutle is bp 15 November 1812

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...&usePUBJs=true

Joseph Riddell Boutle is b 1815 bp 1817 https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...58/edit/record

Edward dies in 1832 - bitten by a pet fox who turned rabid and a witness at the inquest is James Riddell, brother in law. So.... two families? Two wives? Ann a widow and not a spinster as stated? Or did Edward's mother remarry, to a Riddell? All suggestions gratefully received

There is a James Riddel marriage to an Ann Boutel 19 Jul 1812 St Antholin Budge Row, London, according to FamilySearch. So if it is Edward sr who died in 1832, Ann Boutel could be his sister.

Edit - have found what I assume is his burial and he was 46 so it must be Edward sr.

That makes much more sense, Kite. With both surnames being spelled any nuber of ways, Ancestry threw up nothing.

Now, if Ann makes it to 1851, I might find out where she was born. Off hunting....
