I think it's more likely Jeremiah Mullins who witnessed the 1835 marriage of Dennis would be his brother (or other relative) rather than his father.

In 1871 Jeremiah and Margaret say they are from Cork (Hopefully it's the same couple!)

I can't see a birth reg for Margaret, but this one is possible for Ellen:

GRO Reference: 1840 M Quarter in ST OLAVE'S UNION SOUTHWARK Volume 04 Page 445

On the Irish Genealogy site there is a RC marriage transcribed as JERRY MULLANE and MARGT CROWLY 28 Jan 1823 in the Parochial area of ENNISKEANE & DESERTSERGES.

There's an image for it, but if I try and increase the size I can't centre the page to see the entry I want. In any case, whilst we don't know if they are a connected couple it doesn't help much!
