Just a reminder of this website.
http://www.transcribedwills.co.uk/ There are over 2,700 wills so far. I am trying to upload a few every week. If you use the search facility, it brings up ALL mentions of the word. So you can search for beneficiaries within wills. |

Is there anywhere on the site you can just look through the names of the testators without doing a search?

I don't think so, Merry.
However, you could search a county, or a town, and see what wills come up. That would also bring up wills mentioning that county or town. |

Merry, would you like me to e-mail the site owner with any suggestions?

lol I found a will with the surname of some of my ancestors from the next door parish and thought it might well be helpful, BUT it's undated! So, now I have to try and see if I'm connected to someone where I have no idea when they were alive!!!

Which county is it? Can you check somewhere to see if there is a date? |

The last few lines of the will (which is a PCC one) don't seem to have been transcribed. The date is there on Ancestry.

Phew! Pleased you found the date.
Any chance of any connection to your tree? |
