Agnes is Charlotte Hughes (born 1819) the daughter's child she is illegitimate. This family is so mistranscribed on the census.

I am always hoping I'll find a marriage for John Hughes and Elizabeth Price but I never have they were together until his death. Then I'd know John's father's name.

I think that's the most likely death for Charlotte.

Yes that was the last child Charlotte had Mary Ann Hughes I see what you're saying maiden name will be on the birth cert. So I'll get that.

I see in 1851 he is a widower and she is married and is listed as 'mate'!! lol

When do they vanish/die?

Yes I think James and Joseph on that 1851 census are her children and maybe one other it's difficult to read the names. I don't think they ever married or if they did she didn't use the name Price.

This is the last census I found them on.

I think this is probably John's death.
