Perhaps the son of Thomas Collwell and Ann Farnell who married 16 Sep 1734 at St Saviour Southwark, both OTP - I have been trying to find something to prove it. But the will of Susannah Colwell proved 6 Mar 1767 (in the London wills) lists her four children - David Colwell, Elizabeth Colwell, Edward Farnell Colwell, and Mary Colwell. So I assume that she must be the mother of my Edward. Could Susannah be Ann? Or a second wife of Thomas's? Or did Thomas and Ann have a son who was old enough to be Edward's father?
