Found a few mistranscriptions, but its amazing to find my Dad, on the first roll after he was eligible to vote. Also found that as with all things, what you see isn't always accurate - ex's great aunt is listed as Patricia for a few years and then Doris Patricia. Tricky if you only knew her first name!

Sob, sob.

I can't see the images properly. They load at 50% which is much too small to read but when I try to increase them, all I get is a blank white page. I'm using the standard viewer because my Firefox doesn't support the advanced one.

Well, blow me! I went to IE and could see the images perfectly with the new beta viewer, came back to Firefox, restored the previous session and it's all working properly! Anyway, I've found loads that I want to look at but am off to watch tv for the rest of the evening so I have something to look forward to for tomorrow evening.

If this happens again, try refreshing the page - it works fine for me.

I found my Grandad and great Grandad. No idea who they are living with though. There are about 8 people in the house.

I was worried that Grandma wasn't there but as great grandma wasn't there either the next year I can only think that neither registered to vote.

Dad either didn't like the house or doesn't remember it, he gave me a few addresses from when he lived in London but this isn't one of them.

Depends which year it was - women got the vote later than men, and at first, if I remember rightly, it was only women over 30 who owned property.

This was in the 1950's and both grandma and great grandma were registered to vote. For some reason both their husband's were registered to vote in 2 places. Very strange.
