The Colindale newspaper collection is being moved to Yokshire.

According to the British Newspaper Archive's newsletter:

From March 2014, the newspaper readers who previously used Colindale will be able to visit a dedicated newspaper Reading Room at the Library's main site at St Pancras, where microfilm and digital copies will be available

It has been going to close for such a long time, it's a shock when it finally happens.

One of the few repositories I won't really miss. Antiquated work practices, lack of information, limited periods of access and missing volumes. Though I wish I'd found time to check a few things out before it closes.
